you should also know that there are many alternative ways of relieving headaches, and one of them is acupressure.Acupressure is an ancient from of massage that relies on putting pressure on certain point in the body that results in body that results in pain relief.
Although it is a form of acupuncture and reflexology, acupressure doesn't require medical knowledge. To perform it, sit in a comfortable position, then apply soft pressure and rub the points you can see below in circular motion for 30 sec to a minute. The headaches usually disappear between 5-10 minutes afterward, although it may take more time at the beginning. Here are the acupressure points you need to stimulate in order to relive headaches;
- YINTANG POINT : The yintang point, also known as the third eye point, is located between the eyebrows on the area where the bridge of the nose goes to the front. The same point can also eliminate eye fatigue.
- ZHU ZAN POINT : This point lies at the base of the inner edge of the eyebrows. Massaging this spot can also relieve nasal secretion and improve visual acuity.
- YINGXIANG POINT : This point is located on both sides of the nostrils in eye height. Find the dimple below the cheekbones and massage it to relive headaches, toothache and stress.
- TIAN ZHU POINTS : The tian zhu points lie on the middle part of the back of the head between the ear and at the beginning of the spinal column. Massaging this points can relive headaches, eye and ear pain, nasal congestion and migraines.
- SHUAI GU POINTS : These points can be found 2-3 cm. from the beginning of the hairline around the temples. They are lying in small pits-apply pressure to this area to relive your headaches and eye fatigue as well.
- I GU POINTS : these points are present between the thump and index finger on the hand. Massaging them can relive headaches,back pain, toothache and tension in the neck muscle
Most people have tried every medicine known to man to help alleviate the painful problem. Sometimes the medicine works and sometimes it doesn't.
